We are cultivating hass avocados commercially due to their excellent taste, long shelf, high oil and high yields. As a results, consumers embrace avocados as a supper food, however, the global demand exceeds production as avocados take three to four years to reach maturity.

Why should we use avocado in our day to day life? Is because avocado consumption offers numerous health benefits, and culinary possibilities making them a valuable addition to a balanced and  healthy diet. According to public data, avocados are rich in many essential vitamins and nutrients.

Versatility in cooking: avocado added to salads, sandwiches,  smoothies, and even used as a substitute for mayonnaise it can be mashed and used as a spread or added to sauces. Its creamy texture and mild favor make it a great addition to both sweet and savory  dishes.

There are many types of avocado. However, we easily distinguish two types: the ones that have dark and rough skin, we normally call them Hass and there are our favorites. This variety it’s grown in many countries including Tanzania.  It’s flavor is better as is the flesh. The other ones that have the lighter and shiner green skin. There are so many varieties with these characteristics and their aren’t so easy to identify in markets. After all we are sure adding avocado to our daily meal routine it’s a great antidote to all to those dreadful aging symptoms we all wish to avoid.
