A botanic and hikers paradise nicknamed, Serengeti of flowers, Kitulo National Park is the first national park in the tropical Africa to be established primarily for its floristic importance and attract bird watchers. Indeed, it is botanic marvel, home to a newly discovered monkey species as well as which erupt into a riotous wild flowered. The reason why Kitulo is called the “Serengeti’’ its because of the same characteristic of wildebeest migration for Serengeti and the migratory birds coming from South Africa and Europe. Kitulo national park is the great destination for bird watching. Birds watching is done on Lake Dhambwe, grassland plain and Numbe valley. The best time to see birds is early morning and in the evening.
